Nelson Reguera

Born in Santa Clara, Cuba, in 1979, Nelson started dancing at the age of 11. After a competition, he brilliantly entered the National School of Dance of Cuba, one of the most prestigious in the world.
There he studied contemporary and modern dance techniques, as well as Afro-Cuban and folkloric dance. His studies included classical ballet and choreography. His rich experience as a dancer and assistant choreographer for more than twenty years in prestigious international companies, gives him a sharp eye for contemporary choreography.
Passionate about architecture, scenography as well as photography and video, he shares his passions through his artistic creations. He is now a choreographer and continues to express himself as a dancer as well. At the same time, he develops a coaching and teaching activity around the practices of dance and well-being.
