Keep in Touching

A hand that pulls and pushes at the same time, but also gives support and will bear you even after letting you go.

Two dancers, Viktória Dányi and Nelson Reguera Pérez examine everything that lies behind a relationship between two people through this endlessly repeated and routine gesture. In three chapters the performance presents three different variations in a playful and abstract way, leaving the spectators a terrain for free associations.

Harmonised steps and turns, intertwining hands that inextricably hold each other, basic motifs that develop into ever more complex dance combinations, slowly abandoning rules and restrictions. The production was realised within the Staféta Programme initiated by the Municipality of Budapest.
